In the beginning of time, God was said to have planted a tree in the middle of the Garden of Eden, the Tree of Knowledge. A snake tempted the Eve to pluck the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge. The snake said this fruit would grant her wisdom and power beyond all measure, that she could even be more powerful than God.
Tens of thousands of years ago, another story is told of the Fall of Man from the grace of the gods. As a punishment for his errors, a woman named Pandora was sent to live among mankind. She had with her, a precious box of sorts. Legend has it that this box contained even the secrets of the gods themselves. But Pandora was instructed never to open the box lest evil befall the entire human race.
